Cisco evaluated 15 leading AI models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Amazon and xAI and found that “single-turn attack success rate (ASR) is not a reliable proxy for what happens when an attacker can adapt across turns.”

The tests showed that AI models were much more susceptible to multi-turn malicious prompts — success rates ranged from 8% to 88%, compared with a range of 2% to 65% for single-turn prompts.

Researchers at Trend Micro found that attackers are misusing the file-sharing features of Kuse, a legitimate free AI productivity platform, to support phishing attacks. Kuse normally helps employees automate workflows and share files through links hosted on the company’s trusted domain. Attackers are exploiting this sharing system to create phishing links that appear legitimate because they come from Kuse’s real domain, making them more convincing and harder for users and security tools to detect.
