Howdy, Name's Greg Scott! I'm from TEXAS, if you can't tell. I'm a Digital Marketer. I spent the last 8 years working at Frito-Lay as a Webmaster for FritoLay.com and Co-Manager of Frito-Lay branded social media accounts. Now, I'm running my own agency. As a Digital Marketer, I focus in Branding, Website Design and Facebook Ads. After all, they all tie in together if you want to have a great digit

al presence. If you are in need of a website (or have a website that needs freshing up) or need to run some Facebook Ads, give me a holler at [email protected] or 214-437-0639

"Our sunscreen is SPF 50." Good.
"Come home with memories, not a sunburn." Now you've got my attention.

That's the whole game right there, nobody buys the spec sheet. They buy the feeling.

Sell peace of mind. Not protection.

How would you rewrite your "SPF 50" line?

Meet Tempered Physical Therapy.

Before we got involved? They didn't have a website. None. Zero. Zilch.

So we built 'em one from scratch.

Not just a website - their home base. The one piece of the internet they actually own. Not rented from Facebook, not borrowed from Instagram. Theirs.

Does it look good on a desktop? Yep.
Does it look good on a tablet? Yep.
Does it look good on that phone you're probably reading this on right now? Yep.

That's kind of the whole point.

Small business owners, here's the thing: your website is your home base. Your socials, your ads, your Google listing...all of it should be pointing back to a site that's actually yours.

If Tempered PT can go from "no website" to "home base" in one build, so can you.

Need one of your own?
Holler at me.

Meta is testing a future where you can't pick individual placements, platforms, devices, or operating systems at the ad set level. Advertisers are nervous.

It's me. I'm advertiser.

We try to squeeze every cent out of our client's budget and this *could be* taking some of that away.

From what I've read, it's the next step toward value rules taking over delivery control. The test is limited to Sales and Leads objectives. For now...

Special ad categories are excluded. We don't use these either (win!) Only advertisers using the new multimedia workflow will see it.

Most people won't lose anything right away. And even in the test, you keep a lot of levers.

Value rules still let you adjust bids by placement. You can still separate mobile from desktop.

You can target a specific mobile OS. The real loss is the ability to kill an entire platform like Instagram or Facebook in one click.

That's a big deal for some advertisers. But it's not the disaster it seems.

Most placement removal is driven by fear of cheap traffic. I've seen it a hundred times.

Someone notices a run of low-quality clicks from Audience Network and immediately excludes it. The problem is that when you optimize for link clicks or landing page views, cheap low quality actions have a way of popping up somewhere else.

Cutting off one placement doesn't fix a broken optimization goal. The same happens with ThruPlay views.

Audience Network Rewarded Video serves tons of cheap views to people who watch for virtual currency. It's frustrating.

But using a view goal when you actually care about engagement is the root cause. Purchase campaigns rarely need placement exclusions.

You might see a run of junk leads from one surface. That's a signal to improve your lead quality rules, not to nuke a placement.

Value rules are already the better tool. You can bid down or up based on where a person sees your ad.

That keeps the inventory alive but stops rewarding bad placements. Meta is adding more placement support to value rules all the time.

If you really need broad controls, you can still use account-level placement settings.

Those are blunt and apply everywhere, so I'd use them carefully. Here's the practical takeaway:

Check your objective first: If you're running Sales or Leads with the new workflow, plan for fewer placement controls.

If you're running something else, you've got time. *thank the Lord above* But we're going to have to stop treating placement control as a safety net.

Next time you feel the urge to exclude Audience Network, try a value rule that lowers your bid by 20% for that placement.

Watch what happens. You keep the cheap inventory but stop rewarding it.

That's the kind of control you won't lose.

We designed a professional, timeless logo for Grob & A Law Firm. And by "we" I mean a HUMAN designed it. Not AI. Not a robot.

And it's vector, so it can be used anywhere: on a website or a billboard on US 30.

The client wanted a refreshed logo that was modern but with the classic Scales of Justice and a compass twist.
*Kind of feels like we're making a cocktail.

Great branding isn’t just seen… it’s felt...And this feels like Justice for All.

(I planned on squeezing a Metallica reference in there as soon as they said it)

The Meta Ads Manager has been a little glitchy lately. Possibly because of updates. Orrrrr maybe someone didn't know what they were doing. 🤷‍♂️

Some behind-the-scenes with my little friend! 📸 at Bold BBQ Pit in Downtown Wylie.

I have a pretty sweet mobile setup with my DSLR, Osmo Pocket 3 (video), lights, camera slider, camera skate and a few other toys that let me capture a ton of photo and video content for my restaurant clients in one shoot.

Just missing a flux capacitor. ⚡️

Because great food deserves more than a quick phone pic (you never know what the lighting is going to do).

The goal is to build up a library of scroll-stopping content that will keep your restaurant looking good online for weeks.

Restaurant owners: if your social media content is feeling a little stuck in the past, maybe it’s time to get it up to 88 mph. ⚡️

Holler at me and let’s make your food the star of the feed.
