2025 was incredible.
Crazy. Hard. Wild. Picture-book worthy. A full-on roller coaster.
We started the year with a lot of travel. It kicked off with a trip to California with Adaline for my (Shelden) best friend’s baby shower and wrapped up with a hockey tournament in Wenatchee.
February was just as busy. We took our last trip as a family of three (plus Collin’s mom) to Disneyland. I ate an impressive number of Dole Whips, Adaline surprised everyone by hugging a Disney character despite her fear of mascots, and Collin somehow kept his composure while the girls ran up the credit card.
March came fast with more hockey tournaments for both Collin and Adaline. My friends threw me a baby shower, and we felt incredibly loved and as ready as you can be for a new baby. March also welcomed our niece, and just two days later, my best friend welcomed her son. Babies. Babies. Babies.
April was go time. One last hockey tournament in Tacoma gave us a chance to see family before baby girl arrived. The rest of the year feels like a blur.
On May 18th, we welcomed the most perfect baby girl, Evelyn Lee. June is a mystery, July brought Adaline’s 8th birthday, and then August happened.
August was big. In short, we finalized our purchase of Yakindo Web Designs. Were we crazy with the newborn? Maybe. But we have loved every minute of it. We are so thankful for our existing and new customers and for everyone’s patience as we made the transition.
September marked five years of marriage, October meant hockey was back, and Yakindo sponsored a team. Yakindo Deadlinks. We might be biased, but the jerseys are fire.
November and December have been hockey, baby, and business. We are busy haha. Our Christmas card might be late again, but we are doing awesome.
Here’s to another year of firsts, celebrations, and continued fun in web design.
We love ya.
