Due to an uptick in phishing attacks recently, please do the following IMMEDIATELY on all your systems:

Check your computer for unauthorized remote access software, specifically ScreenConnect (also known as ConnectWise Control) [UNLESS you are already using it for remote access, then check for multiple instances of the remote access]

To check for ScreenConnect on a Windows computer:

1. Click the Windows Start button or Windows Search box on your taskbar.
2. Type "Services".
3. Click on the Services application that appears in the search results.
4. Once the Services window opens, click anywhere inside the list of services.
5. Press the S key on your keyboard to jump to services beginning with the letter S.
6. Look for any services named:

* ScreenConnect Client
* ConnectWise Control
* ScreenConnect Windows Client
* Any unfamiliar remote support service

If you find a ScreenConnect or ConnectWise service that you do not recognize:

1. Double-click the service.
2. Click Stop.
3. Change Startup Type to Disabled.
4. Click Apply and then OK.

You should also check for installed software:

1. Click the Windows Start button or Windows Search box.
2. Type "Control Panel" and open it.
3. Select Programs and Features.
4. Review the list of installed applications.
5. Look for:

* ScreenConnect
* ConnectWise Control
* Any recently installed software that you do not recognize

If you find any of these programs and did not intentionally install them, please contact your IT provider immediately.
