Hey! I figured it was about time I showed my face on here.

I’m Danica, the person behind the camera.

I’ve had a camera since high school, but I really fell in love with photography after college when I started assisting other wedding photographers. There’s something about the joy, anticipation, and love in the air that makes me excited for every wedding day.

When I don’t have a camera in my hand, I’m usually holding an iced latte or a good book. I love being outdoors, chasing a little adventure, and spending time with my family. They mean everything to me 🤍

Since becoming a mom myself, I’ve realized something that honestly hit me harder than I expected… we are almost never in the photos.

We’re the ones taking them, capturing every little moment, making sure everyone else is remembered, while we quietly go unseen. And that doesn’t sit right with me anymore.

Moms deserve to be celebrated. To be present. To have beautiful, meaningful photos with their babies that they can look back on forever.

So this year, I’m offering Mommy & Me mini sessions at Brush Creek Park!
📍 Friday, May 1st (evening)
📍 Sunday, May 3rd (morning)

These sessions are all about you and your connection with your little one.... the love, the chaos, the softness, all of it.

One of my favorite parts of a wedding day is all the quiet moments before the ceremony begins. I love seeing all the details you carefully chose come together and feeling that mix of anticipation and excitement for what’s ahead.

While I’m taking it all in, and your wedding party is squeezed into a bathroom curling each other’s hair, or your friends are helping you tie your tie because you have no idea how, here are a few tips to make your prep photos even more beautiful:

• Choose a space with lots of natural light
• Keep the room as tidy as possible (it makes a big difference!)
• Have your details ready to go! Invites, rings, shoes, perfume, all of it!!

These little things help me create images of your prep that look just as special as the ceremony and reception spaces you planned.
