550 episodes of founder advice. Good luck finding the one you need 👀
Three engineers and one product designer. We started on July 13 with nothing. Two weeks later there's a chatbot live on a page, answering questions and showing where each answer came from. 🚀
We've been posting updates every week. Here's the whole story in one place.
Swisspreneur is Switzerland's #1 platform for entrepreneurs. 550+ podcast episodes with the best founders in the country, free to anyone, plus 700+ founders in their Slack. And a problem: 550 episodes of founder advice, and good luck finding the one you need. Not even their own team could search it. If a founder said the smart thing about raising a pre-seed round in Switzerland, you'd have to already know which episode it was in.
So we're building them a chatbot that answers from the archive and tells you the exact episode and the exact minute the answer came from. If nobody said it on the show, it doesn't answer.
Week one: audio in, transcripts out, vector indexes, first real answer with a citation attached. Week two: Cate's design became a clickable widget. Two days after that it was wired to the backend and answering live.
Four people moving that fast is the part we're actually testing. We're running this project as our own experiment in using AI across the entire development cycle: client interviews into documentation, documentation into working code. The chatbot is what we deliver. The speed is what we're learning.
Where it honestly stands: it's a proof of concept. 100 episodes indexed out of 550, edge cases pending, plenty of work left before launch.
If you're sitting on an archive like this, a podcast back catalogue, a webinar library, years of internal docs, tell us what's in yours and we'll tell you straight whether this approach fits: streaver.com/contact
Thanks Silvan, Lars and Beatriz for the trust, and to Caterina Knobel, Gianni Baccino, Martín Fitipaldo and Martín Feldman for the work so far.
