LG recently celebrated its 10th anniversary of automotive software R&D operations in Vietnam on June 17 in Hanoi. The event marks the center's remarkable growth from an initial team of about 30 experts in 2016 to a large-scale specialized entity with over 1,250 software engineers to date.
Throughout the past decade, LG's R&D subsidiary in Vietnam has established itself as a core pillar within the global network of LG Vehicle Component Solutions (VS) Company.
The event featured the attendance and keynote speech of Mr. Lee Sang-yong, Executive Vice President of LG Electronics and Head of the VS R&D Center. In his speech, he stated: "Throughout the past decade, LG's R&D subsidiary in Vietnam has become a pillar in our global automotive software development network. In the coming time, we will continue to leverage the power of the global R&D network to further enhance our automotive software development capabilities."
