Responsibilities:
● Collaborate with the Project Manager and development team to understand
project requirements and design comprehensive test plans and test cases.
● Execute manual test cases to identify bugs, defects, and other issues in software
applications, documenting and tracking them through resolution.
● Document and track defects using issue tracking systems (e.g., JIRA), working
closely with development teams to prioritize and resolve issues in a timely
manner.
● Conduct regression testing, performance testing, and other types of testing as
needed to ensure the overall quality and reliability of software products.
● Prepare test reports and provide regular updates on test progress, test coverage,
and defect status to project stakeholders.
Requirements:
● Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a
related field.
● Minimum of 2 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on
both manual and automation testing.
● Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI)
and experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
● Working knowledge of version control systems such as Git for managing test
scripts and test data.
● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify
and isolate issues in complex software systems.
● Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively
collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate test results and
findings to stakeholders.
