Everything you wanted to know about the Driftwood Tube Preamp 😜🤘: The pedal is a real tube preamp based on the burn channel of our Purple Nightmare.
Inside are two 12AX7 tubes running at a full 300V plate voltage, just like in a real amp. The power supply is designed the same way as in the full-sized head, which is why the pedal responds and feels like an actual amp preamp.
It has one channel with low- and high-gain modes, a TS-style boost, a 3-band EQ, plus Rumble and Sharp controls that normally live in the power amp section.
And yes — the Sizzle switch is there too.
