A standard geyser is designed to keep your water at 65 degrees for 24 hours a day. This is a terrible waste of your electricity.

Geysermax was installed on our very old geyser about 6 months ago. I was very surprised that they could turn my old geyser into a 21st century internet-connected smart appliance that I can control from my phone. Amazing times we are living in! We had an issue with the system initially, but Polygon's technicians provided amazing support and sorted me out very quickly!

We used a simple geyser timer and had modest results. After our Geysermax installation, I can testify that we are definitely saving a lot of power. With all these ridiculous Eskom increases, I am not sure how much, but our average electricity bill is more or less back to where it was 2 years ago!

My Geysermax has saved me from a catastrophe. I received a water leak alert one morning and contacted Polygon for advice. On their recommendation, we had a plumber take a look that same morning. Apparently, the geyser was in bad shape (it was severely rusted and the seam was splitting open). Had we not been quickly warned by Geysermax, we would have had a really bad day.

Geysermax Story:
Polygon Technologies has been involved in a range of "Internet Of Things" projects through the years. After an unfortunate incident in 2018 with a burst geyser at the CEO's (Carel Hauptfleisch) house, he started thinking about solutions. What started off as a simple private project to alert a user when his geyser is leaking, morphed into a full-blown "smart geyser" providing the absolute maximum efficiency and safety that you can get our of a geyser, which is where the "GeyserMax" name came from. Today Geysermax is a fully-fledged commercial product of Polygon Technologies.
