Enjoy the long weekend and Happy Fathers day!!
Of all the stars that light the sky at night,
There shines a heart, a beacon ever bright.
With hands of strength and words so wise and true,
Dear Father, this poem is for you.
In childhood’s days, you held me close and tight,
Through fears and dreams, you were my guiding light.
You taught me how to stand and how to fall,
With every step, you showed me how to call.
Your laughter echoes in the halls of time,
A melody that turns each climb sublime.
In moments dark, you’ve been my steady ground,
A lighthouse beaming when I’m tempest-bound.
Your wisdom, like a river, flows with grace,
In every challenge, I see your face.
Your courage, like a mountain, stands so tall,
Your love, a constant through life’s changing sprawl.
Now as I walk the paths you once have trod,
I see in you the quiet strength of God.
A legacy of kindness and of care,
A gift to cherish, forever rare.
So here’s to you, my father, my dear friend,
On whom my heart will always depend
