On 21 November, Defijn is joining the Women For Change Nationwide Shutdown against gender-based violence and femicide.

As a team, we’ll be pausing our work, turning our feeds purple, and taking 15 minutes of silence to stand with survivors and honour the lives lost.

At Defijn, we believe great digital experiences should be accessible to everyone. That's why our team recently completed a company-wide training on WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) and compliance.

So, what is WCAG?
It's a set of international standards that help make websites usable for people with disabilities, including those with visual, hearing, motor, or cognitive impairments.

Why does it matter?
Non-compliance can lead to poor user experiences, legal risks, and missed opportunities to connect with a wider audience. Inclusive design isn't just good ethics, it's good business.

From designers and developers to project managers, we're making sure every team member is equipped to build digital products that are accessible, user-friendly, and legally compliant.

Because when we design with accessibility in mind, we're not only doing what's right, we're building better for everyone

Design Duel: Pictionary Edition

This time, our Design Duel took a fun twist - we ditched the usual and turned Figma into a full-on Pictionary game!

We built the entire board, game pieces, and dice inside Figma (because why not?). Two teams, Red vs. Blue, went head-to-head in a battle of quick sketches and wild guesses. It was chaotic, hilarious, and proof that Figma can do way more than just design.

Hilarious? Absolutely
Productive? Debatable
Fun? 100%
