Are you always "making money" but you never have any?

Ever wondered how much your company actually costs to run per hour? I'm willing to bet it's WAY higher than you think. E.g. when you factor in UIF, annual leave and sick leave your hourly salary bill just increased >12% (15 leave days, 10 sick). Add a 13th cheque: 21.4%. Now add all your business expenses like vehicles, PPE, insurances, website, internet, admin staff, etc. and it adds up faster than you probably think.

The Fill Handle in Excel is a powerful little chappie! That's the tiny green square in the bottom right of a cell(s). In my online Excel training workshops I demonstrate some of the clever things it can do, but this is one I've only just discovered. Try it out and see what you get!

Switched my laptop on this morning and Windows was telling me it had updated my computer and would I like to use Microsoft's recommended settings? Which means, among other things, changing my default browser back to Microsoft Edge (instead of Google Chrome), and changing my default pdf reader to Microsoft Edge (instead of Adobe Acrobat Reader), and changing my sharing settings (so shared printers disappear and shared folders ask for a password they never needed before. I frequently get complaints about these things -- and this is generally why. So if you don't want these settings changed, don't allow Windows to reset your defaults!
