Here's a game changer. Put the LEDs INSIDE the plant...

Using nanoparticles embedded in plant leaves, MIT engineers created a light-emitting plant that can be charged by an LED. After 10 seconds of charging, the nanobionic plants glow brightly for several minutes and can be recharged repeatedly.

Why restrict at all? If the purpose is privacy, let people grow 5 plants if they want to. 6. Who cares? It's hard to articulate what is wrong with the bill because it's entirely absurd.

Imagine you could only own 10 bottles of wine, and 2 cartons of ci******es.

In South Africa, jail time for murderers can be less than 15 years because of 'time served' awaiting trial. What sort of cannabis maniac does one have to be, to get more jail time than a murderer?

Why not lead the way for the continent, and legalise recreational use? Fields of Green for All.

Mid-lockdown reminder about Photosynthesis

Came across this amazing video. You can turn on captions for the information as it happens.

In short, it zooms into a cell, and into a chloroplast organelle, (which has its own DNA, like mitochondria) and we see the thylakoid disks covered with photosystems (chlorophyll A, B, and accessory pigments) and ATP synthase, the power factories, storing the light energy as a bond to phosphorylate ADP, creating ATP.

The whole process is a bit more complicated, but the ATP molecule will later be used to help water and carbon dioxide become glucose and oxygen, in the process of photosynthesis.
