Starting 19 August 2026, MultiChoice is launching a rebranded, sport-specific channel lineup.

The four major additions and thematic replacements include:

🔹SuperSport Football Plus: The dedicated home for premium international football, including selected UEFA Champions League matches.

🔹SuperSport Africa: A tailored channel showcasing the very best of South African and broader African sports.

🔹SuperSport KickOff: A specialized channel designated entirely for live overflow football fixtures.

🔹SuperSport Extra 2: An entirely new addition providing extra live broadcast capacity when multiple global events run simultaneously.

Package Tier Access Breakdown

🔸DStv Premium: Subscribers retain exclusive, complete access to all four new and overhauled channels (SuperSport Football Plus, SuperSport Africa, SuperSport KickOff, and SuperSport Extra 2). This tier remains the only package containing every single live sporting event and simultaneous overflow channel.

🔸DStv Compact Plus: Package holders get full access to SuperSport Football Plus and SuperSport Africa. This tier features comprehensive European football coverage, including selected UEFA Champions League fixtures. Access to live overflow matches on SuperSport KickOff or SuperSport Extra 2 will be limited to select events.

🔸DStv Compact: Viewers can access SuperSport Africa as well as localized football coverage. Major tier-exclusive events broadcasting on SuperSport Football Plus or the Extra overflow channels will remain restricted to higher tiers.

🔸DStv Family & DStv Access: Subscribers receive access to SuperSport Africa, which serves as the core continental sports hub. General programming on SuperSport Football Plus and the Extra capacity channels are blocked on these entry-level tiers.
