Any Maker who has tried 3D printing knows this fear. You start a long print and have to step away for a while. If your printer doesn't have a fancy system to change the filament and pause when it runs out, the risk of running out is always on your mind.

When soldering meets convenience, you get the TS80P Smart Soldering Iron 🚀

This nifty little tool can be juiced by USB-C (yup, even by your power bank 🔋), heats up in seconds, and is compact enough to travel around with you. Whether it’s a quick repair or unplanned build, you’ll have everything you need to save any project 🤓

And if that wasn’t enough, it also features an ultra-convenient, quick-engage mechanism so no unscrewing is needed when switching out soldering tips 🔥

A dependable, no-fuss tool that simply gets the job done ⚡️

Hey Makers! Look what we printed yesterday to keep a solid grip on the little things in the office. 😂

We couldn't quite decide which clips to go for, so we printed two different options: a simple but fun hippo-themed clip and a clever clip with swappable jaws. 🐊✨

Our snacks will now stay fresh, and "post-it note avalanches" will be avoided with these handy functional prints. Sometimes it is about taking care of the little things, so you can take care of the big things! 😂

What is the most recent functional print you did to resolve little niggles in your office? Let us know in the comments! 👇

Out with the old, and onto a great new home! 🚚✨

During a recent workshop cleanout, we realised our trusty Original Prusa i3 print farm printers needed a new purpose. Instead of gathering dust, they’ve been loaded up and donated to the students at UKZN! 🎓🖨️

We’re thrilled to pass these workhorses on so the next generation of engineers and makers can tinker, learn, and bring their ideas to life. Here’s to empowering the future of tech in SA! 🇿🇦💡

We have all been there. You are working on a new project, but realise you are missing a part, you grab an old component you have on hand or salvage one from a different project. As long as it still gets the job done.
