This week's tip: if you're battling with stringing, try a retraction test before you blame your slicer settings. Print a retraction test tower, adjust retraction distance in small increments, and you'll identify your printer's sweet spot without wasting a full print.

If you're after fine detail, smooth surfaces, and prints that look like they came out of a factory — resin printing is worth the conversation. FDM is king for strength and size. But resin? Resin wins on detail. Miniatures, jewellery, dental models, small functional parts — the surface finish is something FDM simply can't match.

We stock resin printers and a range of resins to suit different budgets and applications.
