Your multifunction printer may have a HDD/SSD, runs software and sits on your network — so every scan, print and copy can be stored on it. To an attacker, that's not a printer. It's an open door.

You send a document to print, walk to the machine — and someone's already there running a 200-page job. So you wait.

Serverless Pull Printing ends that. Send your job once, then collect it at any DEVELOP printer on site. Walk to whichever one's available, sign in, and it prints there. Same job, any machine, no queue.

Your document also isn't sitting in an output tray waiting for you — it only prints once you're at the machine to release it.

LK-114 is an optional licence for sites running two or more supported DEVELOP printers.

That's the problem. A modern multi-functional printer has a hard drive, a network connection, and a record of everything that's passed through it. Most are still running the same factory admin password they shipped with.
