I've been working on something of my own for a while, and it's finally live. 🎉

WilderWoods AltText is a WordPress plugin I built to make the tedious job of adding image alt text and other image details a whole lot easier.

It uses AI to generate accessible, natural-sounding alt text, with optional titles, captions and descriptions too. You can work on individual images or queue up your whole Media Library and let it process in the background.

A few things I wanted to do differently:

• No API keys or complicated setup
• No subscription lock-ins - credits are yours to use at your own pace
• One credit pool can be shared across multiple sites
• 40 free credits to try it out

📘 Project Spotlight #2: DIY Document

When the team behind DIY Document approached me, they already had a valuable handbook. The challenge was finding a secure way to sell it online without simply giving customers a downloadable PDF that could easily be copied and shared.

After exploring the options, I recommended building a secure online Reading Room. Customers purchase access to the handbook and can read it through the website, creating a simple experience for them while helping to protect the content.

The solution was also designed with the future in mind. As more handbooks are created, they can be added to the same platform without needing to rethink how they're delivered.

One of the things I enjoyed most about this project was finding a solution that turned a handbook into a complete digital product - making it easy for customers to access, while giving the owner a secure way to package, sell, and protect their knowledge.

🎨 Project Spotlight #1: Anna Stone Art

When Anna approached me about building her website, it quickly became clear that the project was about more than just putting artwork online.

Before any design work began, we spent time going through her collection together - sorting paintings into categories, deciding what should stay, what could be removed, and thinking about how someone would naturally explore her work. That process shaped the structure of the website and how visitors would experience the collection.

The result is a clean, gallery-style website that lets the artwork take centre stage. Visitors can browse each collection, open individual pieces, view artwork details, and explore the gallery without the website getting in the way.

One of the things I enjoyed most about this project was taking the time to understand the collection first, then designing a website around it.

I'm really pleased with how this one turned out.
