2022 multidimensional poverty index survey and Worldbank states that :
64,6% of people living in Nigeria ( 163 million people) are multidimensional poor( extreme poverty) Making them the 2nd world capital of poverty ,as over half of their population is in poverty..with a total population of 216million , and GDP of $555,346 billion and GDP per capita of $2,345 which is not enough to the population ,this pulls the country to be ranked as a low developed county, with unemployment rate of 33.3% , with a estimated number of +85million people (1st globally) living without electricity access this classify the country as a low income country .
When it comes to oil reserves barrels , nigeria is ahead of many countries in the world , but today Nigeria is begging for dept cancellation from the IMF , World bank and china
