Technicians have successfully completed the hardware installation on a temporary high-site. Most users in previously affected areas (Zwelihle, Sandbaai, Onrus, and Vermont) should now be able to connect.

Troubleshooting:
If your connection is not restored, your equipment may have been damaged or shifted out of alignment during the storm.

Maxitec started repairs to the high-site servicing wireless clients in the Zwelihle, Sandbaai, Onrus, and Vermont areas. The tower and equipment sustained extensive damage. No current ETR.

Restoration work will begin as soon as conditions are safe to do so.

Wireless service to residents in Hermanus Industria, CBD, Westcliff, Eastcliff, Northcliff, VoΓ«lklip and parts of Sandbaai is not affected.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop new Websites
- Maintain and update existing websites and portals

We’ve been informed by our upstream provider that a network outage is currently affecting several Fibre clients on the Lightstruck Network in the Vermont, Onrus River, and broader Hermanus area.

Their technical team is on-site and investigating the issue. At this stage, there is no estimated time of resolution, but we’ll keep you updated as soon as we receive further information.
