Client challenge 1: We need a survey system able to automate reports that can be saved and completed at a later stage.

Surveya is setting aside Tuesdays for our team to focus on projects without meeting interruptions. We believe that by freeing up one day in the work week from meetings our team will be provided with the freedom to be creatively focused.

A creativity focused day where the Surveya team gets to do the work that colours our world beautiful with data.

The Surveya Team kicked off the year a little differently, and it turned out to be such a fun way to start 2023!

Ever had a come to work dressed in how you want the new year to be, to feel?

Not only did everyone dress in a meaningful outfit sparking great conversations, but we committed to being more intentional about creativity, fun, and spontaneity informing our work culture.

So it doesn’t end here, we’ve allocated funds to a monthly “Fun Budget”, and each team member is assigned a month to think of fun and creative activities that bring us together.

At Surveya we believe work culture matters, and if we want our work to continually be innovative, we need to keep our Team creatively engaged, and this means our work culture needs to embody these ideals too.

To a great 2023 for big and bold dreams filled with lots of creative fun!

The report summarizes the main challenges that women and men traders and custom clearing agents face while undertaking import, export, and transit processes and procedures in South Africa. The report also explores trade facilitation challenges related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

SAVE THE DATE! The World Bank Group Trade Facilitation and Gender Report launches this Thursday,14th April 2022 at 10:00-11:30 AM South African time.

The report aims to identify the specific challenges that men and women face in cross-border trade. It provides a wealth of new data and includes a summary of key findings, as well as recommendations on how to address the main obstacles identified. During the event, interventions will be made by the World Bank Group, the South African Revenue Service, the World Customs Organization, private sector stakeholders, and the UK Government.

The study was led by the World Bank Group. Rollout of the survey and preliminary analysis was conducted by Surveya

At Surveya we love to play, and given that Friday is one of the most playful days of the week, we thought we would share some interesting facts about one of the world's most popular toys - THE RUBIK'S CUBE.

Did you know that the Rubik's Cube was first invented by Hungarian sculptor and Professor of Architecture, Ernő Rubik?

Originally called the "Magic Cube", the first test batches were produced in late 1977, and after it was licensed in 1979 to the Ideal Toy Corporation, it was renamed the “Rubik’s Cube.”

Since its launch in 1980 more than 400 million Rubik’s Cubes have been sold. This makes it one of the most popular puzzles of all time.

Even though the puzzle can be solved in less than 20 moves, the overall moves of the Rubik’s Cube reaches 43,252,003,274,489,856,000 (over 43 quintillion moves), so it is no surprise that only 5.8% of the world’s population can solve it.

If you are not one of the millions who have played with a Rubik's Cube, we suggest you start, and join the 6% of people who can complete it!
