Sales Agent for ContiPower

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Sales Agent to join our team.

As a Sales Agent for ContiPower, you will be responsible for generating new business and maintaining existing customer relationships within the power industry. Your key objective will be to drive sales of our products and services while providing exceptional customer service.

Requirements:
β€’ A minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in the electrical industry, with a proven track record of achieving targets.
β€’ A degree or diploma in electrical engineering, business, or marketing.
β€’ Strong technical knowledge of high-voltage and medium-voltage electrical equipment, including Transformer Bushings and Ring Main Units.
β€’ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in simple terms.
β€’ Strong sales skills, including the ability to generate leads, build relationships, and close deals.
β€’ Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
β€’ Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
β€’ A strong work ethic and a positive attitude towards challenges and problem-solving.
β€’ Must be willing to travel locally and regionally.
β€’ Applicants don't have to be based in Gauteng.
β€’ Must be willing to work on commission basis with retainer.
β€’ Proficient in Microsoft 365 and Customer Relationship Management systems.
β€’ Preferable: Valid driver’s licence (Code EB) and own transport.

Responsibilities:
β€’ Identify and develop new business opportunities within the power industry.
β€’ Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers, ensuring that they receive exceptional customer service and support.
β€’ Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics to achieve sales targets.
β€’ Provide technical advice and support to customers on the use and application of our products and services.
β€’ Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to customers.
β€’ Keep abreast of industry trends, regulations and developments.
β€’ Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and other industry events to promote our products and services.

Human Resources Manager at ContiPower/CATCO

ContiPower is a leading supplier of medium and high-voltage electrical equipment such as Transformer Bushings and Ring Main Units. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team in South Africa.

As a Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of HR, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and HR policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:

β€’ A bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
β€’ At least 5 years of experience in a Human Resources managerial role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
β€’ Demonstrated experience in employee relations, recruitment, performance management, and staff development.
β€’ Experience in managing HR policies and procedures.
β€’ Knowledge of the electrical equipment manufacturing industry and an understanding of the unique HR challenges that are specific to this industry.
β€’ Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
β€’ Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
