From Mandela’s inauguration to Namibia’s independence, to Graceland with Paul Simon in Harare, Prosound has been part of the African liberation, growth and celebration.
For more than 50 years, The Prosound Group has proudly built its story alongside the experiences of the African continent – designing, supplying, and supporting professional technical solutions in spaces where people gather, communicate, celebrate, learn, and connect.
Prosound has always been interconnected with the growth of Africa. It has evolved into a business that services projects all over the continent, from West Africa to East, from the island of Mauritius to large-scale installations in Southern Africa.
Along the way, we have had the privilege of working on stadiums, mega houses of worship, theatres, hospitality spaces, banks, schools, conference facilities, and live entertainment venues – each project carrying its own unique cultures and stories.
No project is ever the same in Africa, yet, across every region, there is a shared passion for connection, creativity, and community – something technology has the power to enhance when implemented correctly.
Recent Prosound projects across the continent includes the Tusker Brewery in Kenya, the Hotel in Ponta do Ouro, the Bank of Lesotho in Maseru, and the Al Falaah Masjid in Lusaka, to name a few. Proving the Prosound Group’s long-standing commitment to supporting Africa with world-class audio, lighting, AV, conferencing, and broadcast solutions.
At Prosound, we remain incredibly proud to be an African company – partnering with consultants, integrators, venues, businesses, and communicators to help create spaces hat sound better, communicate better, and bring people together.
After 50 years we have a rich African history, but we look forward to the African future.
Because ultimately, the heart of what we do has never been about the technology, but about the experience.
