Infrastructure, Data and Telecommunications to be available at any given moment. The SOS Group purchased an I.T. infrastructure company to get the necessary skills

to form a foundation on which to build a technology team that are able to provide a fast and effective solution to technology based problems. Products

• Internet Access

Internet access connects individual computer terminals, computers, mobile devices and computer networks to the Internet, enabling users to access Internet services such as email and the World Wide Web (Internet). HITEC SURE cc provides this through various technologies such as Microwave, Fibre, GSM and Satellite. Each of these have their own pros and cons but are often used together to offer better up time and/or faster through put (Speeds).

• Fibre to the Home

Fibre to the home (FTTH) is a generic term for any broadband network architecture using optical fibre to provide all or part of the local loop used for last mile telecommunications to a house hold. FTTH can carry services such as DSTV, Educational Channels, and high speed internet access and in future a service such as video on demand (Netflix and Hulu) will be available. Each of these services requires a large group uptake to make it cost effective for the fibre provider to install infrastructure.

• VPN Services

A virtual private network (VPN) extends a private network across a public network, such as the Internet. It enables a computer or network-enabled device to send and receive data across shared or public networks as if it were directly connected to the private network, while benefiting from the functionality, security and management policies of the private network. A VPN is created by establishing a virtual point-to-point connection through the use of dedicated connections, virtual tunnelling protocols, or traffic encryption. HITEC SURE cc offer both managed and unmanaged solutions for VPN access.

• MPLS Network

Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) is a mechanism in high-performance telecommunication networks that directs data from one network node to the next based on short path labels rather than long network addresses, avoiding complex lookups in a routing table. The labels identify virtual links (paths) between distant nodes rather than endpoints. MPLS can encapsulate packets of various network protocols. MPLS supports a range of access technologies, including T1/E1, ATM, Frame Relay, and DSL.

• VoIP

Voice over IP (VoIP) is a methodology and group of technologies for the delivery of voice communications and multimedia sessions over Internet Protocol (IP) networks, such as the Internet. Other terms commonly associated with VoIP are IP telephony, Internet telephony, broadband telephony and broadband phone service.

• APN

An Access Point Name (APN) is the name of a gateway between a GPRS, 3G or 4G mobile network and another computer network, frequently the public Internet. HITEC SURE offers APN service for clients that want the best security when connecting from a mobile device to their internal network. This service gives better control over what the user is able to access and how much data they have used.

• SLA

A service-level agreement (SLA) is a part of a service contract where a service is formally defined. Particular aspects of the service - scope, quality, responsibilities - are agreed between the service provider and the service user. A common feature of an SLA is a contracted delivery time (of the service or performance). HITEC SURE cc offers SLA agreement for I.T. solutions. We cater for server or server farm management and desktop support. This adds a complete solution for a client that wants their infrastructure to be managed by professionals to ensure the highest possible up time.
