Hey, Future WeThinkCoders! Your opportunity to join WeThinkCode_ is still within reach!

We’re currently recruiting for our TVET campuses:

📍 SWGC – George Tabor Campus
📍 CJC – Parktown Campus

If you’re a young person living in and around these communities and have always wanted to pursue a career in tech, now is the time to get started!

How do you get into the current intake?

Before you can take the WeThinkCode_ entry assessment, you’ll need to complete our Digital Inclusion Programme.

The programme introduces you to foundational coding and digital skills, giving you the building blocks you’ll need for the recruitment process.

Once you’ve completed Digital Inclusion, you can progress through the online assessment and recruitment bootcamp for an opportunity to qualify for the current intake.

And there’s no time to waste!

There are only TWO recruitment bootcamp sessions remaining for this intake.

So, if you want a shot at joining our SWGC or CJC intake, you need to get moving now!

What happens when you stop simply using AI and start understanding how to work with it?

For WeThinkCode_ student Otlile Lebelo, the GenAI programme transformed the way he approaches coding, studying and problem-solving.

Through the programme, Otlile learned how to sharpen his prompts, work with AI for documentation and build a structured workflow that helps him move from understanding concepts to applying them in practice.

The result? Less trial and error, more intentional problem-solving - and a more effective way of using AI to support his work.

AI is more than understanding how it works. It’s knowing how to use it to solve problems, think critically and get better results.

Our GenAI programme allows learners to move beyond theory and put AI into practice through hands-on exercises, coding and real-time problem-solving.

For Khanya Nongwe, that meant learning how to refine prompts, troubleshoot independently and apply new concepts with confidence.

She travelled halfway across the world carrying South Africa's flag, her passion for technology, and the determination to prove what young women can achieve.

This Women's Month, we're celebrating Tshabalala, who represented South Africa at the BRICS Hi-Tech Future Skills Competition in Russia and achieved 3rd place in the world in the Computer Games 3D Modelling category.

Her journey is one of resilience, growth and excellence, and today we're proud to share her story in her own words.

The countdown to WeThinkCode_ Sports Day is officially on! 🔥

A day of friendly competition, big energy, teamwork, connection and, of course, some serious bragging rights.

From the field to the sidelines, we’re bringing the WTC community together for a day that celebrates the people, spirit and energy that make our community what it is.
