Your computer device is even more essential during lockdown so any downtime due to breakdown is a waste of time! We don’t have to leave home to help you. All you need is an internet connection and we can securely help you find any problem and resolve it. Remote also means paying 20% less. We bill in 10 minute intervals so if it’s a minor breakdown, the cost will be nominal. So please call on us - we are not going anywhere🙃. .

Many are complaining that ADSL is slow in our area (Lakeside and surrounds). This can be due to poor cables (copper) in your vicinity, or you are some distance away from the Muizenberg exchange (cnr of Main and Albertyn Rd - for all the "021 788 # # # # numbers). Recently two new (MSAN) boxes (optic fibre link to the Mberg exchange) went live in Lakeside area. The boxes are on the corner of Rutter and Main, and cnr Span and Driver street. If you are close to these boxes, you may have noticed your internet is more responsive. These boxes now offer up to 20Meg ADSL and 40Meg VDSL. Advice for your slow Internet? Onsite testing to reveal signal:noise ratios - which can seriously effect speed or sync issues. This can be reported to, and sorted by Telkom in some instances. Please note that if you use an uncapped account, these are usually heavily "throttled" and your overall internet experience will be very slow. In my opinion, its better to use a capped account.
