From the chairman's desk, DafriGroup Plc:
At this crucial time, we are reminded of the fierce urgency of now and the need to no longer take the approach of gradualism. To this end, I apologise for being silent for so long.
Running a business comes with responsibilities and more importantly, accountability. Even though we face difficulties, my purpose for establishing DafriGroup Plc remains solid.
I have always thought of Africa as a beautiful damsel. One who for years has been treated unfairly. With this notion, the goal was to place Africa on the map as a testament to the men of the west that we are more than we are perceived to be. Over the years, I have had a paradigm shift, for if all I did was to prove a point to those who have exploited me then there was no difference between me and the transgressors.
DafriGroup Plc mission is not just to digitalize Africa but to create products and services that simplifies the every day living of all men around the globe regardless of the colour of their skin, gender, geographical location and more. We are taking the 'from Africa, to the World' approach.
To make progress, we must of necessity reevaluate our decisions so far. Ideas are plentiful, talk is cheap but the ex*****on is what matters. I would love to hear from you our valued customers and investors.
