HIRING: Support Technician (ISP Industry) – Krugersdorp (Office-Based)
Role: Support Technician – ISP Support (NOT a Fibre Installer role)
Location: Krugersdorp
Hours: Mon–Fri (office-based) | Limited weekend support
Start Date: Preliminary start: 1 March 2026
Salary: Market-related (experience dependent)
✅ Role Purpose:
Provide technical support to onsite technicians, manage helpdesk tickets, and support stable network operations (Mikrotik & Ubiquiti). Manage technician schedules via the job card system, working closely with Admin (the main client contact) to ensure jobs are tracked and completed.
🛠 Key Responsibilities:
-Helpdesk tickets: log, triage, resolve, escalate
-Operate/manage Splynx portal
-Configure/support Mikrotik & Ubiquiti (sectors, P2P, WAN DHCP, PPPoE)
-Coordinate onsite techs and uphold procedures
-Manage technician schedules via the job card system
-Accurate notes, follow-ups, and meticulous recordkeeping
📌 Minimum Requirements:
-2+ years ISP/networking support experience (preferred)
-Strong Mikrotik & Ubiquiti configuration/troubleshooting skills
-Reliable transport to Krugersdorp office
-Strong communication (firm, respectful, procedure-driven)
-Works well in a dynamic, ever-improving environment
-English required
