Is your Mercedes Actros showing any of these?
β Rear lights flickering, dimming or not working at all
β Indicators or hazards not functioning
β Brake lights working intermittently β or not at all
β Trailer socket faults or no trailer communication
β Dashboard warnings linked to the rear of the truck
β Air suspension or rear axle sensors not responding
β Park brake not activating or not displaying correctly
These are all classic signs of a failing Heckmodule β and every single one of them is a potential roadworthy failure waiting to happen.
The Heckmodule (Rear Module) on the Actros MP2 and MP3 controls rear lighting, trailer communication, brake signal output, indicator control, and CAN Bus communication with the rest of the truck. When it goes wrong, the symptoms can show up across multiple systems at once β which is exactly why so many of these faults get misdiagnosed and chased in the wrong direction.
At Autolectronix, we repair Mercedes Actros MP2 and MP3 Heckmodules at component level β meaning we open the unit, inspect the PCB, replace faulty components, and apply moisture protection to prevent the fault from recurring. Every repair includes full CAN Bus testing to confirm the module is communicating correctly with the FM and Base Module before it leaves us.
We also carry tested exchange units for cases where the original is beyond repair β same warranty, same testing process.
β Component-level repair
β Full CAN Bus testing
β Moisture protection applied
β Exchange units available
β Warranty on every unit
β Significantly cheaper than OEM replacement
If your Actros is showing any of the symptoms above β don't let it become a roadworthy failure or a breakdown. Call or WhatsApp us for a quote.
