Not every QR code is safe to scan. π¨
Cybercriminals can use fake QR codes to send people to dangerous websites that look real, but are designed to steal personal or business information.
Before you scan, remember:
π Preview the link first
β οΈ Be careful with QR stickers on posters, parking meters or public spaces
π For payments or logins, rather type the official website yourself
One quick scan can lead to the wrong place. Think before you tap.
At Terabyte Designs, we also offer Cybersecurity Training for employees, helping your team understand real-world threats like phishing, fake links, QR code scams, password risks and AI-driven scams.
Because your staff are often the first line of defence. π‘οΈ
