I had the pleasure of collaborating with Nandi Kai on her brand identity refresh. Nandi is a professional hair and makeup artist based in the UK, whose clientele primarily consists of local brides, with additional work on international fashion and editorial shoots in London. She approached me with the desire to elevate her visual presence with a new logo and website update that better reflected the elegance and professionalism of her growing business.

Nandi wanted her logo to be feminine, modern, and simplistic—something that would convey her artistry while remaining timeless and versatile across both print and digital platforms. I worked closely with her to understand her aesthetic preferences and brand values, eventually developing a clean, sophisticated logo that featured soft typography and a subtle, organic element inspired by natural beauty. Together, we refined the color palette to complement her work's soft, romantic tones and ensure consistency across all brand materials.

In addition to the logo, I helped refresh her website to better showcase her portfolio, streamline her booking process, and enhance the overall user experience. By combining thoughtful layout design with cohesive branding, the updated site now feels much more aligned with the high-end services she provides.

I had so much fun on this design project because I got to flex my illustration muscles for a change!

The brief was to come up with a name for an Olive Oil that would be launching.

As I read through her family history I came across a beautiful paragraph about their "Nonno Rino" who originally bought the family farm. (This is the same farm where the olives for this olive oil is grown.) "Nonno" is the pet name for the word "grandpa" in Italian, and I immediately felt it was such a warm and sweet name as well as a fitting name for her new Olive Oil.

🇯🇵 ERFENIS RED WAGYU 🇯🇵

I absolutely love how this brand identity turned out in the end.

Simple, classic and to the point, Erfenis Red Wagyu breeds with top quality Wagyu genetics.

The red circle is a quick connection to the Japanese flag, and the Wagyu illustration also plays with the idea of genetics by showing the the twisting double helix.

It was so much fun applying this logo to different mediums, swipe to see the logo in action.
