Today, on Youth Day, we did something we’ve wanted to do for a long time. 🧡

50 years after the Soweto uprising, nearly 1 in 4 South African children still can’t learn — because they’re hungry. So we’re launching the Cloud23 Foundation, and we’re starting with the one thing every child needs first: food.

Our promise for the first 100 days: feed 10,000 children, and report back honestly.

We were built in Johannesburg, on skills and opportunity. This is us giving some of that forward — beginning with a full plate. Food first. Not food only.

Swipe through to see how it works, and how you can be part of it. 🍽️

World Tour Essentials delivered exactly what great ecosystem moments should: customers in the room, strong conversations, and real energy around what is possible with Salesforce.

A big thank you to the Salesforce leaders and the wider Salesforce team who helped make this happen. Your effort in bringing customers, prospects, and partners together created the kind of momentum that makes events like this meaningful.

As Cloud23, we are grateful to be part of this ecosystem and to work alongside people who actively create opportunities for collaboration and customer impact.

AI is changing the world at speed. But without trust, security, and responsible governance, its full potential will never be realised.

Cloud23 - Experience Excellence was proud to be represented at Sentech Africa Tech Week, where our CEO, Ram ☁🎮🧠🧑🏻‍💻 Ramakrishnan , joined an important conversation on cybersecurity in an AI-driven world.

The event brought together technology leaders, innovators, policymakers, and industry experts focused on Africa’s digital future. It was also an honour to be part of a platform attended by Hon. Solly Malatsi , Minister of Communications and Digital Technologies, whose keynote at the 7th annual Africa Tech Week Awards reinforced the importance of recognising the people and businesses advancing technology across South Africa and the wider continent.

Ram’s message was clear: as AI becomes embedded into customer engagement, financial services, public sector platforms, enterprise operations, and everyday decision-making, cybersecurity can no longer be treated as a downstream control.

It must be designed into the foundation.

For African organisations, the opportunity is significant. AI can accelerate productivity, improve service delivery, unlock insights, and create new operating models. But this must be matched with stronger data governance, identity controls, ethical implementation, platform resilience, and a culture of security awareness.

At Cloud23, we believe the next phase of digital transformation will belong to organisations that can balance innovation with trust.

Thank you to Topco Media, Sentech Africa Tech Week, the speakers, award winners, finalists, and everyone who contributed to a powerful gathering of Africa’s technology ecosystem.

Africa is not only adopting the future of technology. Africa is shaping it — securely, responsibly, and with purpose.

Mother’s Day is often spoken about as a day to celebrate mothers.

But maybe it should also be a day to reflect on what it truly means to hold a mother.

Because mothers are often the ones holding everyone else.

They hold the children.
They hold the home.
They hold the emotional weight.
They hold the quiet fears.
They hold the family together, even when no one sees how tired they are.

And yet, behind every strong mother, there should also be people holding her.

A child who notices her.
A husband or partner who supports her.
A family that does not take her sacrifice for granted.
A workplace that respects her dual responsibilities.
A society that does not romanticise her exhaustion.

Motherhood should not mean invisible sacrifice.
It should not mean carrying everything silently.
It should not mean being celebrated one day and overlooked for the rest of the year.

This Mother’s Day, I am thinking not only about mothers, but also about the systems around them.

The people who support them.
The people who make space for them.
The people who remind them that they are not alone.

To every mother: your strength is seen, your sacrifice matters, and your love has shaped more lives than you may ever know.

Happy Mother’s Day.
