Background music might be subtle, but it can make a big difference to how a space feels.
Too loud, too quiet, uneven coverage, or the wrong type of music can quickly change the experience, even if people can't quite put their finger on why.
That's why good background music isn't simply about choosing a playlist and putting speakers in the ceiling.
It means thinking about:
๐ถ The purpose of the space
๐ถ The people using it
๐ถ Where the sound needs to reach
๐ถ How it should sound throughout the environment
๐ถ How to create the right atmosphere without becoming a distraction
We believe background music should be designed as part of the environment, not added as an afterthought.
Because the music may sit in the background, but the experience it creates doesn't.
