There are two people who have had the greatest impact on how I understand and live a life of faith.
The first is my father, Rev Makweya, who has gone to be with the Lord. From childhood into adulthood, I watched him faithfully walk with God. His life was a living testimony of faith, and the example he set left an indelible mark on me. Much of what I know about trusting God, persevering through challenges, and living with conviction was first modeled by him.
The second is Pastor Msiza.
Growing up, I had the privilege of watching him minister over many years. I remember him visiting our home, leading revivals at Seshego Assemblies of God, preaching the Word, praying for people, and inspiring faith wherever he went. Through his ministry, I witnessed lives being transformed and hearts being strengthened. His unwavering faith and commitment to God’s work have been a tremendous source of inspiration in my own journey.
It was therefore a great blessing to have him with us at the Gathering of Worshippers. As he ministered and spoke words of encouragement and blessing over the worshippers, our hearts were deeply warmed and strengthened. We are grateful not only for his ministry but also for his fatherly support, wisdom, and the genuine love he continues to show God’s people.
Pastor Msiza, thank you for being such a blessing in our lives. Thank you for your faithful service, your example of unwavering faith, and for the lasting impact you have had on so many of us. May God continue to strengthen you, bless you, and increase your influence for His glory.
We thank God for your life and for the gift you have been to us all.
We are leaning on fathers 🙌🏽
