Ok to clear things up, this is a surge plug on the left, it will only stop electricity that goes above a certain level of voltage, this particular one clamps at 300volts then it will trip the earth leakage at your DB board, provided your earth in your house wiring are up to standard, THIS PLUG DO NOT HELP JACK S**T IF THE VOLTAGE RUNS LOW, low voltage damage appliances even more.

On the right we have a fridge safe plug, name is deceiving, you can use it on TV, cctv, laptop, pc, etc. This plug protects against high voltage as the first plug, and low voltages, it will switch off the appliance and check the voltage constantly, it will only switch on the appliance once it is happy electricity is normal again.

PLEASE DO NOT THINK YOU ARE IN VINCE ABLE BY BUYING A SURGE PLUG, REMEMBER BOTH IS ONLY A PRECAUTION, IF VOLTAGE TOO HIGH TOO QUICK, LIKE LIGHTNING STRIKE, IT WILL PASS STRAIGHT THROUGH THESE DEVICES.
