Meet Emily Ropafadzo Nduna, a Form 1 student from Kubatana High School in Shurugwi District. She was the youngest scholar to walk away with a brand new laptop and other exciting prizes from the Girls in ICT celebrations powered by POTRAZ.

She produced the best essay in her district and came out first among selected students in the Shurugwi District. Her essay was on the topic 'Outline problems faced by people in your community and give solutions using ICT'. Congratulations Emily!

Girls in ICT Day Celebrations!💃

This year we took the celebrations to Midlands Province! The importance of ICT in the fourth industrial revolution cannot be overemphasized and girls need to be part of the movement. As the nation works towards vision 2030, the inclusion of girls and women is vital in realization of these goals and as the STEMfem Network we are here for it!

Our WCW for today is Tofara Lindsay Chokera the CEO and founder of TofaraOnline a Digital Marketing and Innovation Consulting Trust which aims at empowering women and MSME's to embrace digital marketing and innovative tech-driven solutions for business and career development.

She has over 15 years experience in Information Systems and Technology and has been awarded Digital Champion for small businesses by the International Trade Centre, World Trade Organisation and the International Chamber of Commerce.
