Educational Robotics is a learning programme which is designed to enhance students' skills in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. In these programs, students learn to design, construct, and program robots, using robotic kits and software that mimic real-world problem-solving.
Motors play a significant role in educational robotics. They function as the driving force in robots, enabling them to move, rotate or perform specific tasks. Here are some ways motors are used in educational robotics:
1. Movement: principles of motion and force.
2. Rotation: mechanical design and control of robots.
3. Adjustable Speed: concepts of velocity and acceleration.
4. Force and Torque: pulleys, or levers powered by motors
5. Programming:control their movements
6. Engineering Systems: (like sensors, controllers, batteries, etc.)
