Marimba Angling society Presents Summer opening pool party with Dj Bryan Ship. Save the date! Saturday, November the 4th! Come down to lake Chivero and join us for this special family day and party. The pool is looking clean and fabulous! full (cheap!) bar and catering is available, including a pig on a spit, boerewors rolls, hamburgers and chip platters. No drinks allowed to be brought onto the premises. Full secure camping facilities and newly renovated ablution blocks are available for everyone including families. For no extra charge. Don’t be afraid to bring the kids and enjoy! Directions are explained below, and a map is attached with the images.

At the entrance, there is no network service, therefore, unfortunately, the entrance fee has to be $5 cash only per person. Ecocash tickets available prior to the event (Contact Bryan Ship on +263 776 614 141) Ecocash and swipe are available for the bar and catering on the day.

Bryan ship will be playing all the different kinds of music throughout the day, and dazzling us later on into the evening with the best lighting and a laser show. Stay for the night so you can enjoy the party, take advantage of the camping facilities and drive home safely on Sunday morning! Breakfast will also be available for purchase on Sunday morning.

Marimba Angling club is situated on the closest side of the lake to Harare so it’s not too far out!
Directions: Travelling out towards the lake on the A5 (Harare Bulawayo Road), after the main roundabout drive 5.7 km’s, Look out for Puma energy service stations on the left-hand side, there are 2 situated very close to one another. Directly after the SECOND Puma service station, there is a road to the left, turn left! Continue straight down the road for 10 km's, at the 10 km mark the road will continue straight and there is a road to the left, Turn left. (Marimba Angling Society will be sign posted) After turning left continue a further 3.5 km’s and you will come to a T junction, (Harare Safari lodge to the right) Marimba Angling society to the left. Continue down the road until you see a white Durawall, You’ve arrived at your destination!
