Tapkey now supports NFC (Near-field communication) on iPhones running iOS 17.4 or later.

This allows your iPhone to act as a transponder, so you can unlock Tapkey Smart Locks by simply holding your device near the lock. NFC provides a fast, secure, and contactless way to use your phone as a key, especially in environments where multiple locks are installed close to each other.

When a transponder goes missing, the priority is clear: remove access immediately to keep your system secure. With Tapkey, this can be done in just a few steps directly in the Admin App.
