Located in Adelaide and looking for your next role in social media?

We're growing our team and looking for our next superstar.

Your role would be creating social media content for aesthetic and cosmetic clinics across Australia.

The work is varied, the clients are premium, and there's room to grow your skills across content, strategy and design.

It's a flexible role where you can decide if you'd like to work 4 or 5 days a week. The aim is for 1-2 days coworking in the Adelaide northern suburbs, with the rest of the days remote.

If you love beauty and luxury vibes, this role would be perfect for you.

Most clinics get email marketing wrong.

They say it doesn't really work.

Or they're doing it but don't really notice a difference.

Chances are it's the strategy that's letting them down.

They send a blast to everyone on their list - full of random business updates and promos.....

Crickets.
That's all they get.
Maybe one regular drops a comment here or there.

With the right tweaks it can be a goldmine for your clinic.

People who visited in the last 3-6 months? Contact them more often. Perfect for SMS marketing as well as email marketing.

And if they've visted more than twice? Add them to a VIP circle with exclusive offers. It will make them feel special and encourage loyalty and rebooking.

The people who visited within the last 12 months? They need a reason to come back — a promotion, a seasonal offer, something relevant. They don't care about business updates or changes.

The person who booked three years ago, cancelled last minute and never rebooked? Stop wasting your budget and delete them from your email database.

A huge email list feels impressive. But if it's full of disengaged people it actually hurts your marketing.

The people who ignore your emails? Get too many and you end up hidden in the spam/promotions folder. Then it can become a downwards spiral and people stop seeing them completely.

-> Clean your email list regularly (automation can help!).
-> Sync your emails with your online booking system
-> Make the content focused on the client & their desires not on how great your clinic is.

Know a clinic running emails with limited success? Forward this post to them as a reminder to stop sleeping on their email strategy.

Your ad budget isn’t the problem — where you’re sending people is.

Most clinics running ads are losing bookings not because the ad is bad, but because the page it sends people to does absolutely nothing to help them decide.

They click, they land somewhere generic, they leave.

No context for the treatment, no reason to trust you, no clear next step — just a homepage or a booking calendar that expects them to already be convinced.

A dedicated landing page fixes this. One page that matches the exact offer in the ad, explains the treatment simply, shows why your clinic can be trusted, and makes it easy to book.

That one change is usually what turns ad spend into actual bookings.

Save this for the next time your ads feel like they’re not working.

I built my business to be easy.

To grow without needing my constant involvement.

No second guessing.
No chasing clients.
No endless posting on social media.
(Big fat no to the coach who said I needed to post 3 times a day.)

And I can confidently say it’s working.

I built systems to do the work for me.

But the truth is — it’s not the system or the platform doing the heavy lifting.

It’s the strategy behind it.

When I had the wrong strategy?
Everything felt like a waste of time and money.

I’ve learnt a lot from mistakes in business.

And I see so many new (and even established) clinics making the exact same ones.

Because the truth is, what worked online in 2022 doesn’t work the same way in 2026.

That’s why we do things differently now.

We help skin clinics avoid the mistakes we made, and grow faster with strategies built specifically for clinics — based on real experience working with them every day.

So I’m curious…

Are you still running the same strategy that worked for you back in 2022?

WordPress 7.0 is coming.

And it’s one of the biggest updates the platform has had in years.

If your business runs on WordPress, this update is actually a really big deal.

Here’s why.

First, WordPress is introducing real-time collaboration inside the editor -> This means multiple people can work on the same page at the same time, similar to Google Docs.

Your designer can adjust layouts while your copywriter writes the content.
Your team can leave notes directly on sections of the page instead of sending emails or screenshots.

Everything happens in one place.

Another major improvement is a completely refreshed admin dashboard.
Currently the dashboard is a maze to find what you want, but after this update? It should look like a modern tech site.

That makes it much easier experience for business owners managing their own sites.

WordPress is also introducing AI infrastructure that allows plugins and tools to integrate AI in a more consistent way. This means your website will be able to connect with new AI tools much more easily as they emerge. (honestly I'm not sold on this - WordPress Elementor already does this and it sucks).

On top of that, the editor itself is expected to become more powerful.

You’ll be able to control layouts for different devices directly in the editor, adjust spacing and typography without code, and preview visual page revisions. In simple terms, building and editing pages is becoming far easier.

^^^^^ This they're promoting heavily. But rumour in the WordPress community? They're making significant updates to remove the reliance on page builders like Elementor, Divi, Kadence or WP Bakery. If that happens, it could simplify websites dramatically. ( &See)

For business owners, this update is will make WordPress easier, faster and more powerful to use.

And that’s something we’re very excited about.

Save this post if you run a WordPress website so you remember to prepare for the update.

Too many clinics underestimate how much their social media feed affects bookings.

Someone might discover your clinic through an ad, Google search, or a recommendation from a friend.

But before they book, they almost always check your Instagram and Facebook.
And in that moment your feed quietly answers a few questions in their mind.
➡️Does this clinic feel calm and professional?
➡️Does it look like somewhere I’d trust with my skin?
➡️Do they seem experienced with the treatments I’m interested in?

If the feed feels random, loud or disconnected from the experience inside the clinic, people hesitate.

We see this a lot with day spas and skin clinics. Especially in the early start up phases.

Beautiful, relaxing treatment rooms and helping their clients get amazing transformations… but a feed full of bold colours, random graphics and stock images that don’t reflect the real experience.

So we redesigned this client’s content to match what their clients actually feel when they walk through the door.

💕Calmer colours.
💕Showing real treatments in progress.
💕Familiar faces

And sprinkled between? Education that helps clients understand the difference between treatments offered.

Within 3 months their views and website clicks increased significantly.
But the real win is this.

When someone lands on their page now, they feel safe.
Your Instagram feed isn’t just a gallery. It’s often the final step before someone decides to book.

If you’re a clinic owner, take a moment to scroll your own feed like a client would.
Does it reflect the experience you deliver inside your clinic?

They should be able to feel your experience before they’ve ever walked through your doors

Hackers don’t just target big companies.
They target small businesses that assume it won’t happen to them.

One compromised email, outdated plugin, or weak password can quietly open the door to your entire website.

A few small security habits can save you days of downtime, lost revenue, and a lot of stress.

Save this post so you’ve got the checklist when you need it.

Side note - that $90k lost? They arrested someone in Adelaide but never recovered the missing money 😭 make sure you secure your business so it doesn’t happen to you.

If you’re constantly wondering why enquiries are slow… this is usually why.

You’re marketing the what.

Laser. RF. Injectables. Skin tightening.

But clients are deciding based on the who.

Who will treat me?
Who will listen?
Who will make me feel comfortable?
Who won’t rush me in and out?

Big chains win on volume and discounts.

Independent clinics win on connection.

If your content only shows machines, treatment rooms and before/afters, you’re missing the biggest reason someone chooses you.

People need to feel safe before they book.

That safety is built long before they enquire.

Follow if you want more ideas on how to make your clinic feel different — not cheaper.

PSA for clinic owners.

When someone Googles you, they’re not just looking at your website or booking calendar.

Before they even get to that they're looking at how many reviews are on your Google business profile.

And whether you like it or not, they’re comparing you against your competitors.

Just look at this screenshot.

If you had to choose… which one feels safer?

You can have the best equipment. The best training. The best intentions.

But if there’s no proof online, people hesitate.

And hesitation means they book somewhere else.

If you’re TGA regulated, yes — you can still collect Google reviews.
They just can’t mention specific treatments or results.

Clients can talk about:
• Your team
• How they felt walking in
• The service experience
• The location
• Or simply leave a star rating with no comment

No reviews doesn’t look “new”.
It looks risky.

If you want more bookings, your Google profile is not optional.

Follow along for simple ways to grow your clinic without discounting your prices.

PS. Dont hide all your reviews within your booking tool like Fresha - people wont even click onto this booking profile to see if your Google business profile looks dodgy.

Every clinic handles consults differently.

Free consults often attract the “just looking” crowd.
They cancel last minute. They’re not committed. They price shop.

Some take payment when booking.
Some charge on the day.
Some make it redeemable on treatment (which is a smart incentive because the client feels like they’re using a credit, not spending more).

Doctor-led clinics? They usually charge more — and clients expect to pay.

But here’s the part no one talks about…

Booking a consult is actually hard.

Because clients don’t see a result during a consult.

And people want to feel like something happened.

That’s why virtual consults usually convert poorly.
Low commitment in → low commitment out.

If you can take someone straight into a treatment, satisfaction jumps.

That’s why renaming a “skin consult” to a first time facial experience — including analysis, a customised facial and a plan — often performs better.

They leave glowing.
They trust you.
They rebook.

Offer injectables?

Skin needling is a low barrier entry point.
They get a visible result. They experience your clinic.
Then during treatment, you can naturally ask about their thoughts on injectables and offer a complimentary consult.

Every clinic has a different model.

The real question is — is yours designed for bookings, or just information?

I'd love to know what you found that works for your clinics - drop it into the comments below to help other clinic owners
