Following an overwhelming response from the Sunshine Coast music community, the (Sunshine Coast Music Industry Collective) is proud to reveal the finalists for the 2026 Sunshine Coast Music Awards!

Finalists across the 2026 Sunshine Coast Music Awards span 11 categories, including Artist of the Year, Artwork of the Year, Song of the Year, Live Act of the Year, the Indidge Award, Rising Star, Young Artist of the Year and Musician of the Year.

Highlighting not only the region’s artists, but also the wider creative community and industry spaces supporting live music on the Sunshine Coast, the awards additionally recognise Recording Studio of the Year, Venue of the Year and Punter of the Year.

Australian vocalist shares his poweful new album 'Strings Attached (Deluxe)', led by the powerful focus track 'NO MORE' featuring Kate DeAraugo, Adam Noviello and Kween Kong. Created in response to the tragic deaths of Jesse Baird and Luke Davies, the song’s accompanying music video is grounded by an incredibly personal presence, with Baird’s mother appearing on screen in a moment that transforms the work into both a touching tribute and a powerful statement.

After the release of her second album ‘Hold Everything Lightly’, followed by a national tour last year, Australian indie-folk songstress .rumble returns with ‘Patience Peaceful Breathing Slow’, a delicate and meditative new single.
