From the retail shop floor to the world of SaaS, integrations and inventory tech, it’s been quite a retail journey.

For Andrew Maver, it all started in his dad’s suburban menswear stores. After graduating from university, he embarked on a career in systems integration before launching his first business. These days, you’ll find Andrew taking on complex retail challenges and finding innovative solutions that our clients love. At stockinstore HQ, you’ll always find him with his shadow, Teddy the chocolate Labrador, who’s always ready for a treat or game of fetch. And in his spare time, just take a look towards the bay because you’re likely to see him swimming.

Gil Blackstone also started out in retail working for the iconic Australian store, Country Road, where he quickly became known for his attention to detail. Around our office, Gil is known as ‘pixel man’, as he’s across every detail in product, design and customer experience. Nothing gets past Gil.

Together, they’ve built the 𝘧𝘢𝘴𝘵, 𝘧𝘭𝘦𝘹𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘦, 𝘢𝘧𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 solution that is stockinstore, based on a shared belief that retail should work better for brands, stores and customers alike.

🙏 Call it Fayt. Australia's favourite inclusive fashion boutique FAYT found stockinstore's "Find in Store" App on the Shopify App Store, and a few weeks later, it was up and running, making it easier for customers to shop the styles they love in-store.

Fayt the Label was founded in 2017 by entrepreneur Brittney Saunders who built a loyal community around size-inclusive fashion and thoughtfully designed wardrobe staples. Brittney has over 600,000 followers on Instagram and has been recognised among Inside Retail Australia Top 50 in eCommerce, highlighting the brand’s impressive growth and influence in the retail space.

Today, alongside a strong eCommerce presence, Fayt operates five stores nationwide.

Before launching Find in Store, the Fayt team received frequent customer service enquiries about product availability in-store. Many online customers also weren’t aware of Fayt’s physical stores. With Find in Store, Fayt customers can now check local store availability directly on the product page making it easier to shop their favourite styles nearby.

By implementing Find in Store on their Shopify storefront and connecting it with Shopify POS, Fayt can now:
✔ show in-store availability
✔ reduce customer service enquiries
✔ promote nearby store locations
✔ drive more in-store visits

The best part? Setup was quick and seamless, installed directly from the Shopify App Store with no heavy lifting required from the Fayt team.
