Block (BLOCK) received a Finalist award in the Logos, Trademarks & Symbols category for Kimbara Wagyu. Inspired by the rich traditions of Japanese culture, the logo draws on traditional forms to reflect the brand’s heritage, craftsmanship and premium quality, brought to life through the commissioned work of master Japanese calligrapher Maki Shimano.

Great work deserves another look 👀 With the 2026 AGDA Awards deadline 5 weeks away, we're revisiting some of last year's finalists and winners to inspire your entries for this year.

Block (BLOCK) received a Finalist award in the Print & Publications category for I Came Around in Circles. Created in collaboration with senior Yindjibarndi Elder, linguist and painter Wendy Hubert, the publication thoughtfully brings together language, art and storytelling in a beautifully crafted printed piece.

Juicebox () received a Finalist award for their Brand & Identity entry for The Floating Forest 🦘🌳 Set amongst the forests of WA's South West, the website carries the destination's atmosphere into its digital presence through clean lines, natural rhythm and quiet confidence.

We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of designer and educator, Leah Dent.

Leah ran Studio Bomba and helped to lead the AGDA WA Council for a period, giving her time and energy to the local design community for many years.

She was thoughtful and kind, someone who always had time for design students coming up in the industry. Leah's presence and influence in the industry will be greatly missed.
