Hi there! I’ll keep this pinned for anyone curious about my story and what I offer.
I’m a Perth-born photographer and graphic designer with nearly 20 years’ experience. I began in graphic design, which shaped my understanding of culture, art history and visual communication. I believe good design should inspire, entertain and delight — while clearly communicating a strong, central idea.
Today, I work primarily in commercial photography, specialising in portraits, corporate, art documentation, events and community projects. Photography lets me combine creativity with curiosity — stepping into new spaces, meeting new people and telling stories. My approach is relaxed but organised. When photographing people, I aim to create a fun experience that feels natural and enjoyable. Authenticity matters more than ever in the AI age we’re living in. I also love creative portraits. Play isn’t just for kids and is important to experiment, discover new tools and ways of seeing, as well as connecting with new people.
Alongside photography, I’m a practising painter currently working in watercolour. I’ve held several solo exhibitions, so I understand firsthand the vulnerability and logistics involved in exhibiting work. Documenting other artists work is something I genuinely value.
Community is important to me. I volunteer with Northbridge Common, our local town team, and recently curated “Take 5,” a community exhibition where locals documented the neighbourhood on disposable cameras, culminating in a laneway exhibition in Northbridge.
I’m driven by diversity, and love working with clients both big and small, especially those who promote education, arts, design, culture, health, and sustainability. I approach each project with enthusiasm and positivity, no matter how big or small. I can’t help it.
