420 page document … printed 2-up, full colour, double sided, punched TWICE before it even hits the output tray— then cut and twin-loop-wire bound.
What started as a 420-page PDF document became a professionally finished book, with the digital press doing most of the heavy lifting.

There’s a reason we still talk about CMYK — even though these days, it’s all happening digitally inside the press.
And if you really want to impress your local printer…
Just casually say:
“Yeah, I’ll have that in CMYK.”

Have you ever wondered how printers count pages? 🤔
One of the most common mix-ups we hear is:
“I’d like a quote on a 4-page booklet, printed double-sided.”
But in the printing industry, every side is counted as a page. So what many people call a 4-page booklet is actually an 8-page booklet.
Knowing the difference makes it much easier to get an accurate quote and helps you and your printer speak the same language.
Hopefully this little tip saves you some confusion next time you order printing! 😊
