This season is one I’ve been dreaming of - a time to slow down, nurture, and fully embrace the magic and excitement of what’s ahead. With that in mind, I am now officially on maternity leave.

I’m not sure exactly when I’ll return next year, but when the time comes, I’ll be returning with fresh inspiration, renewed creativity, and a whole new chapter to share.

For now, my books are closed and I won’t be responding to emails or messages while I take this time away.

Over the coming months, I’ll be focusing on:
✨ enjoying the final weeks of pregnancy
✨ preparing for our little one’s arrival
✨ slowing down for the festive season
✨ soaking up every moment of this precious transition into motherhood

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the love and support. I can’t wait to return when the time is right. 🤍

This year I had the absolute joy of working with my dear friend to bring her vision for .au to life. ✨

Forever in Fiction is a bookish business dedicated to celebrating indie authors and creating a space where their stories can shine. From the very beginning, we knew her brand needed to capture the magic of storytelling, the intimacy of books that stay with us long after the last page, and the elegance of a community built around imagination.

Through her brand identity and website, we wove together elements that feel whimsical yet refined, giving Forever in Fiction a visual presence that reflects her passion and dedication to the world of indie books. Seeing it all come together — and now seeing her share it with the world — has been such a special full-circle moment.

Supporting women-led businesses and helping them express their story through design is the very heartbeat of Ivory Ember Studio, and this project was one that reminded me why I love what I do.

I’m beyond excited to share not one, but two beautiful new chapters unfolding in my life.

First, Valiant Design Studio has gracefully evolved into 𝗜𝘃𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗘𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗼 — a name that reflects the heart of my work: refined, soulful, and designed with intention.

And second, the most precious project of all — our little one, arriving January 2026. 🕊️
