Alcidion has today announced it has signed an agreement to acquire the suite of Kyra flow products, comprising Kyra Patient Flow Manager, Kyra Queue Manager and Kyra IQ, from Telstra Health.

This strongly aligns with Alcidion’s strategic vision to build a leading, recurring revenue-driven health technology company focused on improving patient flow and operational outcomes across healthcare systems.

Kyra flow products are trusted by hospitals and health services to support critical operational workflows including patient flow, bed management, outpatient queues and referrals.

➡️From the ABC today: It is fantastic to see Hume Rural Health Alliance and Goulburn Valley Health recognised for their work extending care beyond the hospital walls with remote patient monitoring.

Their efforts have transformed the experience for gestational diabetes patients, allowing them to be safely monitored from home across regional Victoria and reducing the time and cost burden involved in managing their health.

We are extremely pleased to see the benefits the program is delivering to these patients and the impact felt by their communities.

With 93% of trusts now running an EPR, the focus is shifting from getting digital in to making digital work - improving flow, connecting systems and supporting frontline teams under real pressure.

But that shift raises hard questions. What does digital maturity look like once the infrastructure is already in place? How do you move from connected systems to better outcomes?

This shaped much of what we heard at Rewired this year. Across sessions and conversations, similar themes came up around interoperability, usability, the shift into neighbourhood care and smoother patient journeys - all pointing to what comes after go-live.
