Highlights from our Smart Irrigation Farmer Training Program in Shaltha, Faridpur 🌱💧

The program demonstrated how IoT-enabled smart irrigation can reduce irrigation costs, improve productivity, and reduce GHG emissions by up to 2 ton CO₂e per hectare through climate-smart AWD practices.

Organized under the MoU collaboration between IPAO NGO and Nodes Digital Limited the event created strong enthusiasm among farmers towards adopting smart agricultural technologies.

We are delighted to share that we have successfully conducted our Smart Irrigation Farmer Training Program in Shaltha, Faridpur, focusing on climate-smart agriculture, efficient water management, and technology-driven sustainable farming. 🌱💧

The training program was organized as part of the collaboration framework established through the MoU signed between IPAO NGO and Nodes Digital Limited (NDL). The initiative created significant enthusiasm among participating farmers, reflecting the growing interest in smart, climate-resilient agricultural technologies across rural Bangladesh.

The program highlighted the practical application of IoT-enabled smart irrigation systems to help farmers improve water efficiency, reduce irrigation costs, enhance productivity, and reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by up to 2 ton CO₂e per hectare through AWD-based smart irrigation practices. We look forward to further collaboration with IPAO and partners to scale these solutions among farmers in the coming days.

Proud to share that Nodes Digital has completed the Impact-Linked Finance Readiness Bootcamp under Biniyog Briddhi Phase II.

Delivered by Social Finance Academy (SFA), with support from Roots of Impact
and LightCastle Partners, the program strengthened our approach to impact measurement and investment readiness.

For our Carbon SMART e-Irrigation solution, this is especially important for measuring water savings, methane reduction, and farmer income impact.

Bangladesh grows rice on more than 11.7 million hectares across seasons; at a potential 2 tons GHG reduction per hectare, this represents about 23.4 million tons CO₂e reduction potential and around USD 702 million carbon revenue potential at USD 60/ha.

We look forward to building Verra VM0042 / Gold Standard-aligned pathways for smallholder farmer benefit-sharing.

Proud to contribute to the week-long IoT Based Precision Agriculture for Sustainable Production training workshop organized by BARC at the BARC Office, Dhaka. 🌱🚜

The program brings together government officials from various agricultural agencies to strengthen knowledge and capacity in smart agriculture technologies.

The workshop was inaugurated by Dr. Abdus Salam, Executive Chairman, BARC.

During Day 1 & Day 2, NDL conducted sessions on IoT fundamentals, infrastructure, automation, aquaculture solutions, cloud software, and mobile app demonstrations, along with practical hands-on learning.

We also demonstrated our GWG Methane Monitoring Solution, highlighting IoT’s role in climate-smart agriculture.
