Job Context:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to design, manage, and optimize our infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and production systems. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience across multi-cloud environments, proven ability to handle critical situations, and a proactive approach to ensuring system reliability, scalability, and security.
Job Responsibilities:
▪️Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available systems and infrastructure.
▪️Work extensively with multi-cloud environments, including local private cloud and public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, DigitalOcean, and similar technologies.
▪️Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and deployment processes.
▪️Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability; proactively identify and resolve issues.
▪️Handle critical production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term preventive solutions.
▪️Work closely with development, security, and technology teams to support day-to-day system operations and solution requirements.
▪️Manage cloud and on-premise infrastructure, including servers, containers, networking, and storage.
▪️Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation to improve operational efficiency and consistency.
▪️Ensure system security, backup strategies, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
▪️Prepare technical documentation and mentor junior engineers.
▪️Stay updated with emerging DevOps tools, cloud technologies, and industry best practices.
Minimum Education Requirements:
▪️BSc in Computer Science, or Bachelor’s degree in other related Engineering disciplines (Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent)
Experience Requirements:
▪️Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in DevOps, System Engineering, or a similar role.
▪️Proven experience in real-life handling of critical system outages, incidents, and high-pressure situations.
▪️Strong hands-on exposure to production-grade, multi-cloud environments.
Certifications (Advantageous):
Any of the following certifications will be considered a strong advantage:
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect / SysOps Administrator
• Microsoft Azure Administrator / DevOps Engineer
• Professional DevOps Engineer
Required Skills & Competencies:
▪️Strong expertise in Linux/Unix system administration.
▪️Hands-on experience with multi-cloud, private cloud, and hybrid environments.
▪️Experience with containers and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
▪️Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.).
▪️Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
▪️Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar).
▪️Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
▪️Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
